A wonderful coming-of-age story about the magical powers of imagination
The next premiere of The RCI Digital Stage, "Kajtus the Wizard", is the first show of a miniseries devoted to children and young audiences, which is run in partnership with The ”Luceafărul” Theater for Children and Youth of Iași. Directed by Konrad Dworakowski and based on a novel which was considered a Polish Harry Potter, this is a story about growing up and learning that one’s true power to change the world and make it a better place lies not in some magical skills acquired through wizardry but in one’s very own dreams, imagination and perseverance. A vivacious, modern production staged with exquisite craft, coming from one of Romania’s best youth theaters and equally appealing to audiences young and old.
