Directed by up-and-coming Luana Seu, this intimate theater workshop invites you into the raw, fast-paced, and emotionally charged dialogue of a couple navigating the complexities of their future—personal and global. Starring Olivia Fairless and Austin Lightning Carrothers, "Lungs" delivers a deeply moving and thought-provoking theatrical treatment that speaks directly to the anxieties and hopes of a generation. "Lungs" follows a couple as they grapple with the decision of whether to bring a child into a world facing environmental and societal collapse. Their conversations spiral through love, anxiety, and responsibility, reflecting the tension between personal desires and the harsh realities of the planet’s future. This witty and deeply emotional play forces us to confront our own choices and their impact on the world.
