We end a busy 2023 of wonderful events with a special evening of Broadway classics and timeless carols dedicated to all our friends and collaborators who have shown us their generosity and support throughout this amazing year. Join us at RCI New York on December 15 and let’s celebrate together the Romanian-American cultural connections and the joy of winter holidays!

MEET THE MUSICIANS
Ioana-Valentina GĂINĂ-COJUHAROV has participated in numerous masterclasses with artists such as Ronnan O’Hanna (UK), Roberto Russo (Italy), Julita Przybylska-Nowak (Poland), and Dieter Flury (Austria). She is a member of the "Pro-Piano-Romania" Foundation and has performed concerts with the Iași Philharmonic Orchestra and the "Universitaria" Orchestra of the National University of Music Bucharest during the years. She has participated in various competitions, including: International Excellence Piano Awards - Piano duet section - Gold Award (2022), International Youth Music Competition, Atlanta, USA - Composition section - Grand Prize for the suite for piano "Sinidisis bulgăresc" (2021), WPTA Singapore International Competition - Gold Award in the solo piano section and Platinum Award in the chamber music section (2021), Music and Stars Awards International Competition - Third Prize (2020), Gloria Artis International Competition, Vienna, Austria - Third Prize (2019), Pro Piano-Romania International Competition, Bucharest - Four-hand section - First Prize and Special Prize (2019), Vittoria Caffa Righetti Prize International Competition, Italy, 25th edition, chamber music section - Third Prize (2016) and many others important awards. She has given recitals in various venues, including the Romanian Athenaeum's Grand Hall, the Small Hall of the Romanian Athenaeum, the Aurel Stroe Cultural Center in Bușteni, the Athenaeum in Focșani, the Art Museum in Bârlad, Mogoșoaia Palace, Șuțu Palace, the "George Enescu" Festival, the National University of Music Bucharest, the Concert Hall in Codroipo, Italy, the Romanian Parish Cultural Center in Munich, Germany, Centro Civico de Tavagnacco, Italy, and the Romanian Cultural Institutes in Italy, Germany, Hungary, France, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands.
Valeria-Daniela ROGACEV participated in the Music@e Contest in Hong Kong, winning the grand prize and the trophy. Recently, she was awarded a UNIMIR scholarship. She has performed roles such as the "Messenger" in C. Monteverdi's opera "L'Orfeo," the role of the Mother-in-law in the musical "Beast" by Anastasia Bukreeva as part of the Operamania project. Her most beloved role to date has been Catherine de Aragon in the musical "SIX" by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, which brought her Second Prize at the International Youth Music Competitions Atlanta. With the same project, "SIX," she participated in the Appassionato International Interpretation Competition, where she received the Prize of Excellence.
Emilia TUDORACHE received a Special Prize at the "Youth of Music International Competition." She has portrayed the role of Serpetta in W. A. Mozart's opera "La finta giardiniera" and the role of Katherine Howard in the musical "SIX" by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. The musical "SIX" secured him the Second Prize at the International Youth Music Competitions Atlanta. The same project, "SIX," participated in the Appassionato International Interpretation Competition, where it received the Prize of Excellence.
Theona IURCOVSCHI has collaborated with significant figures in the music world, including conductors such as Cristian Mandeal, Ciprian Teodorașcu, Alessandro Cedrone, Marcello Mottadelli, David Crescenzi, Cristian Oroșanu, Victor Dumăanescu, Traian Ichim, Jozsef Horváth, Raluca Zaharia, and directors Ognian Draganoff, Andrei Șerban, Nicky Wolcz, Karel Drgác, Ioan Tugearu, Laura Vlădoiu, András Kurthy. Theona has received numerous awards, including two silver and one bronze prizes at the "Canco Mediterrania Lloret del Mar'' competition in September 2019 with "Juniorii Operei." Her recent national and international awards include first prizes at the International classical music competition "Angel Voice" 2021, Elite Piano International Competition 1st edition, 2021 (Category voice classical), the "Elena Botez" National Vocal Interpretation Competition 2021, the National Theatrical and Musical Interpretation Competition "C.I și C.C. Nottara," the 9th and 10th editions of the "Ada Ulubeanu" National Interpretation Competition, the "Revelatia Vocilor" Bucharest 2023, the "Elite Musicians International Competition" Iași 2023, and the "Belcanto la Curtea Domnească" Târgoviște 2023.
Daniel-Andrei GĂINĂ-COJUHAROV is a tenor, a graduate of the singing program at the National University of Music in Bucharest, and he collaborates as an assistant director with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Daniel-Prallea Blaga. He has been a vocal solist at the National Operetta and Musical Theatre "Ion Dacian" in Bucharest since 2019. He has performed solo roles such as Pepino in Francis López's "Secretul lui Marco Polo," Gremio and Hortensio in Cole Porter's musical "Kiss Me Kate," Conder in the musical "Jack, între dragoste și nebunie," Ben in Sylvester Levay's musical "Rebecca," Don Basilio in Mozart's opera "The Marriage of Figaro," Il Podestà in Mozart's opera "La Finta Giardiniera," Don Jose in Bizet's opera"Carmen," the Duke of Mantua in Verdi's opera "Rigoletto," Rică Venturiano in Constantinescu's opera "O noapte furtunoasă," Ionică in Trăilescu's opera "Motanul încălțat," Lorenzo in Pascal Bentoiu's opera "Amorul Doctor," and Hamlet in Bentoiu's opera "Hamlet," Freddy in the musical "My Fair Lady," Ottokar in Johann Strauss's operetta "Voievodul țiganilor," and the Grand Inquisitor in Leonard Bernstein's operetta "Candide." He has participated in numerous vocal masterclasses, national and international competitions, recitals, and performances on major stages in Romania, including the National Opera Bucharest, Romanian Athenaeum, Bucharest Radio Hall, Palace Hall, Tecuci Athenaeum, Giurgiu Athenaeum, and many others.
